enercast GmbH appointed to the board of the China Renewable Energy Innovation Center

enercast GmbH, one of the leading providers of renewable energy predictions and a member of Network Hesse-China, is a member of the board of the newly established Renewable Energy Innovation Center in Beijing. During a week-long business trip to China, a delegation from Network Hesse-China signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Commerce of Shandong Province, which makes provisions for targeted, close networking in various economic sectors

The focus of the agreement is on future-oriented issues such as the energy economy, in which Chinese and German companies are working towards more intensive cooperation. Thomas Landgraf, CEO of enercast GmbH, is very excited about the possibilities: “The foundation of the Renewable Energy Innovation Center opens up new opportunities for us. I’m excited about exchanging opinions, experiences and knowledge with our Chinese colleagues, conducting joint research and making a difference in the renewable energy sector. The plan to use renewable energies to benefit so many people is particularly impressive. We will certainly be launching many innovative projects.”

 

Network Hesse-China is an association of companies, institutions and universities from the Kassel region, which have set themselves the goal of enhancing economic, cultural and economic cooperation between Germany, Europe and China. The network has been promoting cultural exchange and understanding for more than 12 years, in order to be able to successfully implement social and economic cooperation.

Alongside enercast, the other members of the board of the new Renewable Energy Innovation Center include the largest network operator in China, State Grid, and further members of Network Hesse-China, such as Fraunhofer IWES and Viessmann Heating Technology Beijing Co. Ltd. Partners include Beijing’s North China Electric Power University and the Institute of Civil Engineering Key Technology at Tongji University in Shanghai.
