enercast strengthens management team for faster growth

Tim Ulbricht has been appointed new chief sales officer (CSO) of enercast GmbH, a leading technology company for applied artificial intelligence and the digital transformation of renewable energy. Chief executive officer Dr. Henning Schulze-Lauen: “Tim Ulbricht understands how the digitization of the energy industry can be turned into customer benefits. His many years of sales experience and his unique competence in smart energy are a perfect fit for enercast’s growth strategy at this point.” Every day, enercast delivers 100 million forecast data points predicting the output of wind and solar power plants with 180 gigawatts of installed capacity in 20 countries around the globe. This ensures their profitable operation and reliable integration of renewable energy into the power grid.

Experienced manager to ramp up international sales organization

Ulbricht brings comprehensive management experience in the energy industry to the table. Most recently, he was CSO for sonnen GmbH, responsible for the expansion of the international sales of solar power storage and energy services. Prior to that, he was managing director of Kiwigrid GmbH where he was in charge of sales, product strategy, marketing and customer support for sustainable digital energy solutions. In addition, his experience as the head of service sales at SMA AG and as managing director at GeckoEnergy have provided him with a deep understanding of the entire PV value chain. Ulbricht has a degree in Physics and has joined Schulze-Lauen on the management board or enercast since 01 August 2021.
